Need Help With Just One Thing?

You don't need a membership to call us. Whether your parent needs a small repair taken care of, something around the house checked, a seasonal task completed, or simply an extra set of hands, our one-time home services give families a simple way to get help without committing to an ongoing plan.

Need help with the home but don't need a monthly plan? We're happy to help.

How It Works

A simple, three-step process

No contract, no pressure. Tell us what you need and we will take it from there.

  1. 1

    Tell Us What You Need

Contact us and explain the task, problem, or concern. You do not need to know the exact service category.

  2. 2

    We Review the Request

We confirm whether the request falls within our services and share pricing or any questions before scheduling.

  3. 3

    We Take Care of It

We schedule the visit, complete the agreed-upon work, and let you know what was done.

For adult children arranging service for a parent, communication can happen with the family member arranging the service, so you stay informed even from a distance.

One-Time Home Check

Concerned about the condition of a parent's home?

If you don't have a specific repair in mind but want a general review, we can visit the home and look over common areas of concern.

  • Entryways
  • Steps and handrails
  • Lighting
  • Doors
  • Windows
  • Bathrooms
  • Visible trip hazards
  • Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
  • HVAC filters
  • Visible leaks
  • Basic exterior conditions
  • Minor maintenance concerns

What a home check is (and isn't)

This is a general visual home check designed to identify obvious maintenance and safety concerns. It helps the homeowner or family see what may be worth addressing.

It is not a licensed home inspection, a code inspection, or a professional evaluation, and we do not guarantee that every defect or safety issue will be identified. When a concern needs a licensed professional, we will say so.

This is also not a medical wellness check. We look at the home, not a person's health.

Helping From a Distance

Helping Mom or Dad From Across Town, or Across the Country

You don't always have to be there yourself. If you're helping manage a parent's home, you can contact us about the work that needs to be completed. We can coordinate the visit and keep you informed so you know what was addressed.

Arrange a visit for a parent without driving there yourself.
Communicate with the family member coordinating the service.
Receive an update and photos after the visit, when appropriate.

We will not enter another person's home or perform work without the homeowner's awareness and authorization. The request form lets you note your relationship, the homeowner's name, and who we should contact about the appointment.

Transparent Pricing

Clear about cost before work begins

One-time service pricing depends on the type of work, the time required, materials, and location. Tell us what you need and we'll explain the expected cost before work begins whenever practical.

We avoid hidden fees, surprise pricing, and misleading "starting at" numbers. You will not have to submit all of your information just to learn our basic pricing approach.

Materials

If materials or replacement items are needed, we'll communicate that before purchasing whenever practical. Material costs may be separate from labor unless otherwise stated.

Larger projects are quoted separately so the price reflects the actual work.

Quick Estimate

Estimate the cost of a one-time visit

Answer three quick questions for a general price range. This is a helpful starting point, not a firm quote. The real cost depends on your home and the details of the work.

1. What kind of help do you need?
2. How big is the job?
3. Do materials need to be included?

Your estimated range

Answer the questions above to see an estimated price range. No sign-up needed.

Some work, including electrical, plumbing, and structural tasks, requires a licensed professional and is priced separately. Estimates may include a minimum visit charge and vary by location within Middle Tennessee.
