Senior Home Independence Services was started to fill a gap that a lot of families in Middle Tennessee run into: there is plenty of help for health care, and plenty of contractors for big projects, but not much dependable help for the routine maintenance and safety of an aging adult's home.
Why this business exists
Families in Middle Tennessee have plenty of options for health care, and plenty of contractors for big projects. What is harder to find is dependable, ongoing help with the ordinary maintenance and safety of an older adult's home. That is the gap this business was built to fill.
We are not a home health agency, a caregiving service, or a construction company. We look after the home, so that the person living in it can keep making their own decisions about how they live.
How a visit works
We come to the home at a scheduled time, work through the agreed tasks, and tell you what was done. When we notice something outside the scope of the visit, we note it and explain what kind of professional it may need, rather than leaving you to guess.

Murfreesboro and the surrounding Rutherford County communities are our home base, and we regularly serve Brentwood, Franklin, and Nashville, along with the surrounding Middle Tennessee communities, as scheduling and travel allow. We would rather be honest about where we can reliably show up than promise coverage we cannot keep.
